OUR SCHOOL

High standards for character and scholarship form the core of the Academy. Through our longer school day and year, we provide more time and support for students to reach these standards, recognizing that each student needs a different level of support and is motivated by a different opportunity.

TIME

All students have more time, and those who need it receive more support.

A middle school student receives 20-64 more instructional days than a district peer.

A high school student receives 10-50 more instructional days than a district peer. 

SUPPORT

All students need supports to build character and scholarship.

Every teacher is available for tutoring each day.

Every student meets with his or her advisor at least once a week.

Every family has access to teachers and staff by phone, email and in person.

OPPORTUNITY

Students earn opportunities through their citizenship and scholarship.

A middle school student can earn school supplies, special lunches and extra free time.

Each class and grade level can earn field trips.

A high school student can earn off-campus internships.

High school students can earn a two-week trip to Beijing.
